Good morning lovelies! How did your weekend go? I did pamper myself a bit last Sunday and made a special concoction for my hair. As you know, I have naturally curly hair, so my hair is really dry and damaged and can look crunchy. To prevent this from happening, I use hot oil on my hair once a week to keep my hair smooth and moisturized. Last year, I really wanted mermaid hair so I was researching over the net what product I can use to make my hair grow longer faster. Good thing, I found natural ways to grow my hair longer without using harsh chemicals. Today, I would like to share with you my homemade hot oil recipe for not only longer but stronger hair.
Good day dear readers! I'm sharing with you today a simple fast food recipe that you could easily do at home. Shakey's is not only famous for their pizza but also for mojos. I cannot go to Shakey's without ordering mojos. It love it so much. In fact, I think they're the best thing Shakey's has, even better than their pizza :) So, because it's rainy and I have been craving for mojos, I decided to make me some. This recipe was an experiment but it turned out really, really good.
Hello dearies! How's your weekend? I do hope you're all doing fine. Typhoon Glenda has now left the Philippines but there is another typhoon, Henry, which thankfully not as strong as Glenda but still we must be prepared. Last Thursday when the storm hit, the husband and I had no idea that it was going to be THAT strong that would leave homes without water or electricity for days. We were not prepared especially with days of brownout. Because most Filipino homes like ours cannot afford generators, we rely on candles, flashlights, and if we're lucky, electric emergency lights. Because of strong winds and heavy rains, most grocers and supermarkets were closed and even small stores ran out of candles to sell. We had two large candles at home but they were not enough to provide the much needed light at night, so the husband came up with a very clever idea, so clever that I had to blog it. We were joking the night he made this that he must have been a descendent of Albert Einstein. I told him that it is extremely possible, but it must have been Albert's brother, Frank Einstein. Haha! Frankenstein, got it? We're mean, I know. I never heard of this before so I was really amazed and it sure does work plus it's cheap, which you all know I like, and all materials needed are already inside our home. So, the next time there's brownout and you ran out of batteries and candles, you can use this simple tip I am going to share with you today.
Good day dearies! Electricity's finally up and running again after the storm. How are my fellow Filipino readers? I do hope you are all safe. This post I have drafted just before the storm, but because I power interruption, sadly, I haven't posted it. I made this simple home decor last weekend. You all know that I love me some flowers in our home. Bringing the outdoors in is a great way to prettify and brighten up our homes, but plants can get too "yellow" even those perfect for shade when there's completely no sunlight making maintenance a chore where you would have to bring out the plants every once in a while for their dose of sunlight. This is the very reason why I love using faux plants or flowers inside the home. This project I placed in our living room. I do hope you get inspired by this simple project I made.
Hello friends! I'm just sharing a simple tip today. Have you ever experienced yellow nails? Especially when you've just removed your nail polish, I do, and I hate them. It makes my nails look dirty even when it's not, but I just love red nails so much I could not give them up. I always wear them almost all the time, but the problem with polish, especially dark polishes like my bloody red favorite, is it makes your nails yellow and unhealthy looking when you remove it. I found that even the nicest brand of nail polish remover cannot remove yellow stains, even if I rub it over and over again, it just does not come off. But, no problem! Here's a simple and cheap solution for you. The things you will need are probably in your bathroom already. Let's get started!
